Reg could be a private plate....the Range Stormer Concept was unveiled in 2004 with the sport coming in the 2005MY (From Sept 54 plate I believe) it could be a press/demonstrator I guess....

What is the start of the VIN Sequence 4A or 5A?

The tenth digit on chassis number is 4 so it's defo a 2004 model Landrover say its an early demonstrator from the release launch of the sport model, yet some part factors state it's 2005 when u give a reg number, bloody weird lol

Funny one, 04 is from first half of 2004 you would think a demonstrator for a 2005 model would be at least a 54 plate. Unless the reg has been changed.

That's the bit I don't understand but the chassis number matches the year on plate, if Landrover hadn't confined it then is say the same that its impossible or is a bloody ringer lol

They will certainly have had a few demonstrators about early in 2004 and road test and evaluation stuff. Getting ready for production later that year for launch in 2005. Maybe high level staff runabouts. So it's not impossible.

Il be honest I'm still looking for an L322 but workin on this TDV6 has put me off them (tdv6) no room to work on it the TD6 is much easier to work I and there's only about 10bhp differance, sod it i think il get the 4.4 v8 I worked on loads of um now and they ain't that complicated... ;)
