Where does this little rear shock washer go???

First off, I've searched for an answer, but buggered if I can find one!

I've just bought new springs, and shocks and will be doing them myself. It's the first time I've attempted it so I want to make sure I do it right.

I've got the rear shock bushes etc and checking through them i can't work out where the little washer goes! :confused2:

Ive checked the existing set up and the lower mounts have the two cups on them so understand I don't need to use all of the washers. I just can't find a small washer on the existing set up. Can anyone put me right?!?!

Okay the top you need to get existing washer right way.

Possibly the washer in picture is for bottom if the bush washers don't have good contact on nylock

Between the nut and lower bush holder (cup). Not good practise to tighten a nut against anything without a washer.

It depends on dampers as my aftermarket ones are different.

Maybe so, I was just going by standard practise..

Ah, I see. Yes I've read about the threads on the aftermarket pins not being long enough to get the nut tight.
