It is a good programme that gets new people interested in vehicle mechanics. Every programme needs a beginning and an end or there'd be no point to it.
Give Edd and Mike a break, they did ok on the range rover p38 which is a vehicle that generally causes people to break out in a cold sweat at the thought of working on one.

My Wife even thinks hes a plonker so.... HE MUST BE :D

Edd seems to be a decent enough fitter, but Mike really is a cock, follow his P38 advice and remember "to get the model with air suspension"

Although Edd does some pretty daft things sometimes, like a Lancia that'd been laid up for over a year, sticks a battery on it, starts it up and revs the tits off it! What an idiot. No whipping the plugs out, oiling the bores and then turning it over sans plugs by hand and then on the starter until the oil pressure light goes off - you know the normal stuff a mechanically-sympathetic person would do...

Think that will all have been done before they filmed it, just to make sure it started. You don't seriously believe he fitted a battery, fuelled it up and it started first turn do you?

How come when he sells a car he isn't a dealer and offers a warranty

not sure MB has anything to do with his "trademark" name,
just a dodgy backstreet tuck `em up & larf dealer...

I once advertised mobile repairs under the name of,
Kerbside Motors!
way back in the mid to late `70s ..
( I was much younger then...V4 Mk1 transit, side door, 7 seater, bulkhead & so full of tools! - doubled up as family transport & tow vehicle for stock cars & bangers)....

It would be stolen just for the tools now eh..lol

had lots of work too!

crikey, just thought how long ago it WAS!...

Shame they dont tell you some of the companys they use, it would be handy, i was watching the one about the Bentley and the guy did an outstanding job on the leather seats, I wouldn't mind having a go at that myself they looked like new when he finished them
