wheel spacers

What's the general consensus on using 30mm hub centric wheel spacers with 15" deep dish steelies wearing 31x12.5 tyres?
I understand the potential impact on accelerating wheel/swivel bearing wear (that said I've had no issues in that dept using these tyres for the last 4years!) just want to know whether there are possible safety implications if fitting these spacers. I would be looking to go for TUV approved ones..

I've had numerous spacers on numerous LRs - spent the bulk of the last ten years on spacers without any problems. I'm sure others will disagree.

I've run 30mm on a RRC V8, 30mm & 60mm on my Disco, 30mm on a Series 1 and 30mm on a Sankey trailer.

Currently 30mm non hub centric (non have been hub centric).

Can I see rust on that correction arm?????? Surely not!!!!

Phew, I thought as much. I do apologise. Never on your disco would there be rust!
