Wheel Bearing on the way out ?

I was on my way into Plymouth on sunday when i started to hear a low rumbling noise from the rear of the car. Have had a quick look and one brake drum is getting much hotter than the other so I think it might be the bearing. Any advice would be appreciated. I have a 2.5 V6 X reg

i would jack the back of the car up and make sure a break isnt binding first:S

it could be a handbrake cable a bit seized and not letting the drakes off
