whats a factory 200tdi 1992 worth please

need a little advice as to what my rhd 1992 range rover factory tdi200 manual and its not first class cond with 190.000miles on the clock is worth.ive owned it for 15 years and has become a very reliable 4x4.i moved to spain with it 11 years ago and re plated it to spanish plates(at a cost of nearly 1000e).ive had one of the local expats intrested in it and has made me an offer of 3300e .ive looked at ebay and as they are quite rare its hard to price the only ones ive seen on recently one for 1700 pound no gearbox and another for thousands of pounds.any advice or a price would be very helpful.

I'm afraid what you have spent on it does not mean a lot. It is worth what you can get for it. Have just had a quick look and there is 1992 minter for sale at 15.000 euros so i suggest you look through the used car ads and form a price from those. Bet the ex pat is a retired used car dealer.

RR's sell for stupid money in France and probably in Spain, I would expect it to get close to double the UK price. Have a look at Ebay for some prices.

Lads father in law came over and bought a Merc 4x4 here, then drove it back, was treble the price in Spain for same year.

Second hand cars are always more in Spain. People tend to buy new and then run them till they fall apart (and keep them in garages where they can). So, second hand prices are way higher than our car consumer economy ... says the man with a 17yr old car and a 12 year old one!

thanks guys for your help couple of points it was an uk plated car but its re registered and is rhd.and ive had a look on ebay and there isnt any for sale ,makes me wonder how many are still around i know when i brought it 15 yrs ago there did not seem to be many factory 200tdi then.your right about car prices in spain but its not so bad as it was as the country is in a bad way.does anyone on here have one whats the going rate

Have a look at Autotrader on line and Ebay UK, if you find a similar one just ask double the price
