if the pinion is where they bolt the front prop i have the one out of my old IRD didnt no they were £45 on flebay

of what use would a 2nd hand pinion be without its partner

one on ebay and he wants £75

Peeps just fit them and hope it will work.

To be fair tho if you have a pinion with a noisy bearing its an easier fix to just swap them over

I think peeps also buy then to exchange their current 2 wheel drive ird with an e bay pinion in exchange for a replacement.
