Fitted light bar today in readiness for next weeks spotlight purchase. I have opted for the KC 57-series spotlights as HID are out of my price range at the minute and ultimately I will fit some HID to an A-bar when funds allow.
I want your opinions on which lights to fit!
I mainly use the Defender for towing my track car but would also like the option to do a few green lane expeditions at some point. So based on my specification should I fit 1 pair of driving lights and 1 pair of fog lights, 2 pair of driving lights or 1 pair of driving lights and 1 pair of long range lights????? It's not very often I come across dense fog so I'm wondering if fitting fog lights is a pointless exercise. As for bonnet glare I have already acquired some black Acrylic to make a shade to prevent light hitting the vehicle so that will not be an issue either.
I would appreciate input only from those who have experience from using light bars.
Many thanks.

I have a light bar fitted to my 110 and I will probably move them to the underneath of my roof rack. All my bar does is stop the rain water from shooting out by the windscreen and instead makes it spill out over and in my ill fitting doors. As far as extra lights go, i live in the country and it can get pitch black when theres no moon, and athough they look good when there all on, I find driving with full beam is good enough. How far in front does one actually need to see?? Extra spots and a snorkle seem to be the first things that new landy owners fit even though they will never be used,( me included)Well you did ask

I put ring rally giants on ( cheap and cheerful) . I live in the peak district and they are more than enough on an unlit road.

Give me a shout when your ready, ive been doing HID kits for years for bmws motorcycles and all my cars are fitted with full hid set ups.

Can always offer advice if needed on them.
