My brake lights have gone off and I want to check the fuse but don't know which one it is . It's a 2004 Freelander td4. What number fuse will this be ?

Taken from the owners handbook of a 2001 model

Is there just the one fuse box under the dash , under the steering wheel ? Or is there one under the bonnet as well ?

First one under the steering wheel

and this one speaks for itself

Now give me a break man I'm trying to eat my dinner, and the dog is trying to steal it:D:D

I have the same problem, it was beginning when was plug a trailer jack into rear outlet.
I have no reverse lights, no brake lights and no parking lights on the left side.
I checked the fuses in both panels but they seems to be ok...
What an where is the problem ?

Just a guess, but there is a block connector near the rear light, is it plugged in?
Checked the bulbs?

Just re read that, are you sure when you connected the trailer plug you didn't dislodge a wire? Bad connection?

Did this get solved? Trying to work out what's up with my brake lights (52 plate TD4 manual) - the middle one works but the bumper ones don't ..and there's no towbar fitted.
