Disco 2 What is this harness connector?

I'm replacing my 1999 D2 4.0L engine bay wiring harness and got through except for one connector that won't snap into place because the new harness connector is slightly different. Connector is near fire wall, right side behind fuse box. What is this connector? Thinking of splicing to the old connector. Thanks!

Looks like it should fit.
Are you sure no pins are bent stopping it going together?
I wouldn't splice in yet.
If the connector is physically different are the wires in the right place? I would "depin" the connectors and swap as they appear to be similar so the terminals could be the same.

I stared at this thing for long time and then the light shined trough the heavens. There was a piece of the old connector in the ebay harness I purchased. It's all good now.
