What is it ?

Need help I have a 2Lt TD4 on a 54, I have started to notice what appears to be fumes coming from the front left hand side of the car, when taking a closer look I found a metal pipe protruding through the back of the bumper. I have check my manuals but cannot find what it is anyone out there know, it might be good to know as it could be a problem.

It's a good thing. Helps the cabin warm up quicker!

Yep fuel burning heater works when temp is below 5 degrees C .

As above. That tube is the exhaust for the FBH.
