What is it called

Hey all,

Did a mini service to the Disco yesterday and noticed that the bar running between the lower crash cans which the lower half of my Disco S2 TD5 bumper attaches to is rotten. So what is this part called so I can price up a new one? Other than providing stability to the lower part of the fairing piece of the bumper does it serve a purpose? Could I buy a steering guard which attaches to the same area instead and get rid of the rotten piece? Which would be more cost effective, average steering guard is £140.

Any ideas on what its called, how much a replacement is greatly appreciated.

I found it, its called a thingy. Well more importantly a breaker understood what I meant and is selling me one for £45. Woohooo
