What have you done to your Freelander today

Removed the rear carpet and trim etc.......and then removed 1" water from the box in the floor.

Also attempted to find the source of the leak (think its on the door seal where the door closes on the hinge side.........cheapskate that i am i tried to bulk out the door seal (which is flattened) with some airline tubing.........after finding out that a new door seal is going to set me back £130!!!!!!! Ouch.....
 
Replaced air filters, crankcase breather, and oil filter. Tried to replace the drop links, but so far I can't remove the lower bolt, not even budging
 
My Hippo passed the MOT test :D

Nice one - Always a nervous day regardless of how well you have prepared.

I fitted a pair of Osram Night breaker plus H7's on the dip beams. Quite a noticeable difference.
Not sure if I will bother with the mains though?
 
chased a couple of ducks off the roof and cleaned up the duck mess :mad2:

topped up the coolant - went from max to min in 3 months and about 500 miles

lubricated the locks ready for winter
 
Took tailgate handle off & removed lock to modify tumblers to fit key.
Fitted tow bar electrics still to fit.
Looked at it & thought what a pretty car.
 
Replaced the faulty? temp sensor in the top turbo hose.

Polished out a scratch in the front wing - bloody Tesco trolleys. :(

Painted the rear drums with Hammerite.

Filled the windscreen wash bottle with Lidl's -60 degrees C stuff.

Sprayed all the rubber door seals with rubber lubricant.

Come on Winter - do your worst!

Took it for a drive "Mondo" before I fit recon Vcu (from bell engineering)

Mended both rear window regulators (took them off to see what I needed to buy but managed to fix them as they were, might last a while)

Tried to repair sunroof but need parts, now ordered off ebay

looked for fbh pipe but dont seem to have one :(
 
Hi All! I'm new. Been reading for days and learned a lot thanks.

Renewing Anti-roll bar bushes today. (mushed one bold head though...going to get a nut welded on top and hope that gets it out). Hope it gets rid of an annoying clunk.

Swapping towbar from my L Series to my TD4.
