What have you done to your Freelander today

Swapped the bog standard headlamps for Osram Nightbreakers. No obvious difference in the city, but out on the back roads and motorway, the difference is really rather pleasing for £11 a pair.

I've got hem in my freelander and D2 I was well impressed with the difference!

Because the weekend weather forecast is for torrential rain, I decided to get the new exhaust back box fitted today.

Finished the job over lunchtime, at work.

Well pleased with the Bosal exhaust - it seems to be tucked up higher than the LR original. Better for green-lanes. :D

Single tail-pipe - 65mm diameter.

Missed lunch though. :(

Singvogel.

It's called the land rover diet;)

Had a new radiator fitted, happy the loss of coolant was due to a leaky radiator and not the dreaded HG! Also put in new mats and ordered a new exhaust. I'm good to my little Freelander!

Still on the lookout for a 225/55 R17 Synchrone if anyone has one they'd like to sell?!

i've got the new turbo mounted in place and just a few things left to connect up before i give her a try and see if she has any further damage.
Old turbo's blades were shot to bits.. literally chunks out of it, and wobling all over the shop in it's housing.
Didn't even take the transfer box out to do it.

Can anyone tell me what type of oil is to be used in transfer box and engine.
Thanks

It's called an IRD ;) 75/90 iirc and a quality 15/40 for the engine will be fine !!
