took off EGR valve, cleaned it, put back on, then blocked off the vacuum tube :D.
was going to take the intercooler off for a check but the bumper has to come off for that so i just left it for tonight, discovered (the hard way) that i need a new tailgate window regulator though :/

Seeing as it is my B'day, and a glorious if a tad fresh day, thought I'd go and investigate a fuel leak on my FL TD4...... turns out it was the push clip that had somehow disengaged from the filter block, easy fix. Also changed the intercooler hose, the last one on the list to do, gave the engine a once over for any other leaks / faults, took him for a mini blast, all good :)

Fitted the newly cleaned oil cooler.
Drained the flushing oil I filled the replacement engine with to clean it, replaced the oil filter and refilled with 5W 40 full synthetic oil.
Drained the water out the cooling system and refilled with coolant.
Checked the auto box oil level.

Today I gave mine some attention. I refitted the rear prop and compared the VCU torque to DD's brand new one, not much difference so I'll leave it on. I didn't want it oft much longer as the roads are getting very icy!

I also polished the headlights to spanky perfection - so much so that when me and DD went to get post-tinkering chips other drivers were flashing me! We discovered that the headlight aim was way off and it would have failed it's next MOT! The foggy polycarbonate was disguising it before. But now it looks fooking brand spankers - probably better than it was when it was new! Very satisfying :D.

Tomorrow I'mm getting the bumper off to get ride of that seized undertray bolt. May aslo do some cosmetic work on the grills ;).
