I would do stuff to my Disco today, but it's got the starter solenoid issue I think, it's just clicking when trying to start. As I don't have a repair kit at hand, is there anything temporary I can do to get the thing to start, even if it's only for the next few days.
I've seen a video on the tube showing that removing the plunger and filing around the ring can temporally fix the issue... any views?
Much like this one I recently purchasedThey normally are when left abandoned in a field.
My heated one doesn't work anymore so I'm waiting for a nice big stone chip so I can get it replacedHad a nice new windscreen fitted, sadly not a heated one.
Cheers
Was it fairly easy to do? After 15 years without a recharge ours isn't cooling well.Re-gased my air con with a kit from halfords and it's looooovely and cold
