what filter do i require for airbox ntc4927

When i removed the engine from a 200tdi disco the airbox was labelled ntc4927, the engine is now in my 90 and im hoping to get the air filter box hooked up this weekend, i'm trying to identify which filter i need... when i search google i cant seem to find a definitive answer and ebay is throwing up all sorts of part numbers for filters that look the same

Surely a disco 200 air filter?
Defender air filter housing has a metal cap with the filter inside the casing, on the disco the end of the filter also doubles as the end of the filter casing.

hmmmm strange, the filter that's in it doesn't look like either of those, i'll get a picture uploaded

Maybe you have the 2.5 n/a or 19j version which is approx half the size?

Just to confuse things the v8 version looks like the disco version but is 50 percent bigger.

The filter part number is on the end of the filter, is on mine anyway.
When I went to my local Indy I had to take the old one cos he said there are ,2 types. He was new there though.....
I also have the disco 200 filter housing in my conversion and its the same as your PIC. I'll nip outside and whip it out for a look see and report back.

James number is the correct one.

Thanks very much, today i welded up the 'dump valve' hole on the air box and gave it a new lick of paint, will hopefully get it in tomorrow.
Looking forward to getting these final touches done so i can start using it properly.
