What electronics compared to a D2

Good morning everyone.
I currently run a disco2 but always hankered for a defender 110.
I have nanocom so all good on that front and a very strong electrical and mechanical background.
The question is does the td5 defender 02 plate only have ecu control on the engine.
What about a bcu or abs unit.
Can central locking be added?
Immobiliser in the engine ecu I expect?
Is there any can bus on them etc.

Mine is a base model and you have the main ecu and the alarm ecu as far as I know.

I wondered about Abs surely at 02 it would have been std? It's on my 03 disco.

Some had ABS and some didn't. It seems to have been more common on the 110 but not inevitable. Mine's a 2006 model and doesn't have ABS.

It still has an awful lot of wiring to go wrong though!

No ABS on my 02 90 or central locking, or electric windows. Purposely bought one without it.

If my wheels aren't gripping when I try to slow down I pump the pedal. It suffices to bring me to a stop on icy slopes where everybody else's cars are behaving like sledges with all the wheels locked.
