Took it for a spin after replacing a few parts. Tracking doesn't feel perfect but the roads here are so heavily cambered think I need to take it on the motorway to know for sure. The Terras feel a lot firmer, much less body roll. I hope this doesn't translate into a harsh drive when I go into work tomorrow morning.

Ordered a new brake accumulator. Get the Buzz everytime I hit the brake. Thought it was taking to long to build pressure in the morning.

passed the MOT with a couple of advisories, brake pipes starting to corrode and play in a couple of bushes ,and pixels on the odometer getting on for unreadable .so a couple of jobs for the autumn.

put the front loader of a jcb through the windscreen by mistake

About 20 years ago when you didn't have to put a teeth gaurd in I acidentl caught and BMW 3 series I. The rear driverside quater opened his car like a tin opener it did, stopped just before the filler neck on the petrol tank  that was close :):)

Adjusted lower tailgate to shut properly everytime, then went about aligning all doors perfectly....much better & now quieter, no wind noise. Then checked tyre pressures & buggered the rear tyre valve & watched it quicky deflate....thats a trip to the tyre place tomorrow morning.

MOT today at 9.40 she had a service last week and an inspection by moi had rear brakes a while back fronts are fine.
No fluid leaks brakes to a halt in a strait line the good thing about a rangie no need to check the lights ;) emmisions ?
Bushes seemed fine to the eye only thing I noticed was my tie bar ball joints seem stiff , geting old and drying no play as yet so let us see what beholds

Last year no advisory s and done about 7k

Sorry to hear, but could have been a lot worse!

I'm happy saint , got away with it for two years no advisorys i just bought the whole lot including a new steering damper and poly bush kit for less than £200 just hate doing radial arms but ho hum as you say could be worse :D

Decided to have a butchers at the chassis/xorst and things of that nature. Noticed a few areas on the chassis that have started to turn orange which will need treating and it seems I will be needing a new xorst soon, it has a healthy amount of rust building up in places. Will have to see about getting a full stainless system made up.

Given it is MoT season soon, I am growing more paranoid by the day. D:

Finaly got he wheels off the spares dog to reveal a set of almost new discs and pads. Result! Amazed at the amount of rust though, looks like it spent the last 10 years of it's life paddling in the sea.
I'm back in the UK later this month, if anyone wants any bits off a 96 DT, let me know and I'll bring them with me if I don't need them.
