Can anyone identify this colour? I need to paint the bracket thing that connects the windscreen to the bulkhead, as the paint had started to flake off and was corroded, and was wondering what colour my car is. There is no colour code on the VIN, and it is possible that the vehicle has been repainted.

Other than that, I was thinking of painting them black but am not sure if this would look OK or not, it would match the bumper and bull bars I suppose.

Any idea what colour it is, and if not, would painting them black look OK?

Thanks guys!

I anticipated that one, and thought of adding 'dont say green' to the post...

Any idea of what green it is? Or if black would look OK?

Looks like standard Landrover green to me but not sure how you can find out for certain.

Black I think would look ok.

Need to get a colour match for mine too. But then I know what colour mine is cos I had it done lol :D

Looks green to me ;) :D :D :D

Well "though" is no good, you didn't actually say it, so I agree with Bromsgrove, ;);) It looks GREEN to me as awell,:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:.

If you have a search mate, I'm sure I've seen a few threads with paint codes and what have you in them, don't know if thats any help, but I'm partially colour blind, what do i know:eek::eek::doh:

This any good none metallic colour :confused: I was bored;)

I thought it was landrover green too, seen a few on places selling land rover green paint, and it look similar.
Ive looked at the other threads but couldnt seem to see any matches, and all those colour codes and different greens are confusing, I cant believe there are so many different greens!
Im thinking of doing the window brackets in black, but could do with a matching green paint for a few touch ups here and there...

Wondered if Coniston Green LRC637

Would match year

Only way(s) to be sure are:

1) order a touch up brush - about £10

2) large Halfords and paly with their colour books

3) Proper paint shop

As you say - too many greens to choose from!

It could well have been repainted at some point.

I have removed a bit of the paint that was on the window brackets and stuck them to a piece of card.
The caretaker at work has told me that I can take them to the local paint shop and they can scan the paint and make a tin of exact match.

Think that may be a possibility. Anyone have any experience of this?
