though feck all to do with the landy

a "mate" called down, got sidetracked sorting him out, he left at 6, then I realised i'd lost the keys and immobilser to mine.
last known place? mates passenger footwell.
mate sez no, about 6 of us stripped the shop looking, mate turns up to help, searched his motor, no joy.
mate goes home, I ripped the anti tamper thing off the back of the pump, hot wired the starter and solenoid, everyone else keeps searching the shop.
got it going at half 12, spare key from home, no spare fob unfortunately.
locked shop at 1, phonecall from mate sez keys found in his glovebox.
now how did they get there? specially as I'd looked earlier.

not happy as I'd just butchered the pump.
least I can turn the alarm on and off tho.

grrrrr.......

might be late tomorrow.

Oh that would really seriously suck :5bbanghead::5bbanghead::5bbanghead: :mil6:

Hope you get a good days laning to trying and make it up - looks pretty good out there today!

Hope the weather was as good on the right hand side of the Pennines as it were on the left ;) Glorious bit of sunshine this afternoon. If I'd have had a new hub handy I'd have swapped it out :( :(. On a brighter note (pun intended) I did replace a sidelight bulb which had finally stopped responding to slapping the headlight to encourage it to work :D Check the front axle oil - not emulsified :).

Just sat down with a pint & a ruby.

Had a top day, great bunch of folks certainly very welcoming. Had lots of fun.

If anyone doesn't know who I was, I had the disco with pump turned up just a midges too much

Yep was another good day out once again thanks to Sue Zip and Neil (hope you get home a bit earlier tonight:D).Some good lanes today and the weather was pretty kind to this weekend.Anyways didn't take many pics but here are the ones i did.

As long as you have front and rear recovery points it will be fine matey.

Too what extent mate? I have the usual towing eyes as well as a towing eye one the front and rear subframes, 2 d links, couple of straps and a wire rope. Would these be ok?

Completly new to all this..
