ANYWAY..bloody engine bay starting to get cramed again...was gonna be a simple build..lol!!

Yep, looks great!

Did get a bit worried when I read "bloody engine" as I thought, oh f**k whats wrong now. But phew, just a bit of clutter thats all.

tb is the stock gems, upside down with coolent heater removed. then painted crinkle black..it is in pic but hard to see..
i cut the plenum chamber off it, made an adapter that bolts onto it (with bloody small m3 bolts and silicon and gasket).you can clearly see the adapter, it is part of rhe s pipe going to s/c inlet..

have cut out the 4.6 lr logo from plenum, that is polished now and will be a tailgate emblum...(or however you spell emblum..lol)..would have cut out the land rover logo bit too, but didnt occur to me before weighing in me scrap pooh bits..dooh

lpg vaporisr in (ish) nice big prins..picked up lpg tank this eve..£10.50...dont you love ebay!

power steering/hydroboost oil cooler in too..

will be making bracket using tb heater bolt holes to hold it steady..see above..

QUESTION...on p38 intake manifold..this little coolent pipe goes to tb heater..from tb to where??

i ask cos wondering if i ought to just bung it up, or route to rad??


question..on p38..where does autobox filler/dipstick tube mount to?? see below..thanks

The little pipe on the manifold is a hot water bleed circuit, it goes to TB heater and then to top of rad, there are 2 small pipes on rad on Efi motors, the other small pipe goes to header tank I think

Anyway with tb heat delete just connect direct to rad

Don't know about auto box I'm afraid

kool, thats what i had hoped..(but not having removed engine was not sure, and incorrect coolent plumbing even iddy little pipes can cause lots of problems, ie on our komatsu excavators, if the heater pipe gets blocked the engine overheats and goes pop!)

more..ebay tank insitu, but not mounted etc..



i do like the bmw seats..



thinking of mounting gearbox manual/sport/eco switch here..will be same as coloum switch..

I have a sinking feeling they have gone but I will have a look!

300 style brake where the cable goes direct into the drum is much mm better you know!

True 300 is much better than older design, so much room for slack in joins plus a pig to adjust
