Anyone in the Bexley area fancy doing some welding, my 90 failed its MOT and needs two bits welded, Nearside seatbelt anchorage area and offside front floor pan, don't want to spend a lot of money, but will help out, buy beer and pizza's any time day or night, but only got until the 21st of this month before the 10 days is up.

What seatbelt anchorage point ? the real is supported through the a bracket on to the bulhead outrigger if its a 90, and some times the bot part of the belt is connected to the real or a web plate between the sill pannel and post , So if it's the aluminium thats corroded away you can pop rivet a piece in as it is not structural. I did on mine.

Thanks Andy, i'll take a picture when i get a minute, i haven't seen it myself yet just going on what the MOT tester has said on his refusal form.

have a look and pst soem pics, if it needs welded it needs welded safety first, but some MOT testers dont know there arse from there elbow.
I know a guy whos landy failed its MOT cos there were no hand brake cables going to the rear drum :doh:. He just laughed told him its a transmison brake but the guy refused to believe it so he had to get VOSA to them.
