Warning for anyone near peterborough - attempted theft

Hi there just to let everyone know in peterborough had an attempt by someone to nick my defender

Out walking the dogs near elton furze golf course. Came back to find rear window smashed, plastic cover to ignition pulled off, CDs and tools stolen.

Must have interrupted them though as hi-lift jack left. 20l of diesel in metal jerry can left.

So be careful guys.

Glad they didn't finish the job!

Police got a fingerprint so fingers crossed.

Just glad gave it a clean out and took everything with me.

cheers for the heads up I'm not too far away. hope you get some results from the cops I don't seem to have much luck with the locals. too interested in their doughnuts

No luck with the police - no fingerprints on car and not caught anyone so wont be taking it any further

definitely lesson learnt from this though

no definitely not best feeling - most annoying thing is I must have missed them by seconds

have a feeling the cricket bat in the car may have found some use
