wanted cheap mud tyres

i have made loads of phone calls been to some tyre places bronco is one of them i cant get over some of the prices but im not sure wat i wont yet
bronco said a set of grizzly claws on steel wheels 700 pound or a set of cheaper tyres 500 pound or you could have remoulds are they trying to rip me off or is that the right price and wot is a good tyre to have please help
