Get yoself a nice scrap disco. Yu can use the engine, tbox, axles ( for disks) and flog the rest.

I've got one for sale, just as long as you want to rebuild it.

I will have one up for sale in a few days fully rebuilt just got to put head back on, new bearings pistons cambelt all gaskets etc got recipts for all parts the engine has had, it has all auxillarys with it aswell was building it for my 90 project but i was layed off work and it had to go so no longer need the engine, £600 based in dorchester dorset

Forgot to mention it comes with a brand new clutch kit and if u putting it into a defender i got a intercooler u can have with it if u need it

I have one coming out next weekend. hopefully before that though. the disco has 129068 miles on the clock. i have driven it before it was parked up. its missing power steering pump. i will be complete with radiator pack n exhaust down pipe. were near wantage oxfordshire. £400 for it.

I could do you a 300tdi setup if interested. It's siting ready to go on a pallet, iv just put it up for sale in the parts section. I also have a new radiator and all the parts you would need to fit it in your defender.

I could do it all for £400 plus postage which will be about £60 for a pallet or it can be collected from edinburgh.
