The broken pin is pin no1 red grey. The compressor multiplug is the connection I have issues with..can the harness side joint be remade/replaced ?

As i said there is no Red/Grey wire to datalink connector (OBDII) It is Grey/Red. Main colour Grey, tracer Red. Main colour first tracer second. You may be able to remove the spades and tighten them up. Only three wires on compressor plug. Green power, Black ground and Orange overtemp circuit. Colours to compressor socket from loom are Purple/Light green (To Green). Black/Purple (To Temp switch). Black to black, ground. Flick the inner cover out carefully you should then be able to insert a thin pin to take out the spade connectors tighten them up and put them back press cover back in. Compressor plug/socket have no connection to nor influence on OBDII connector.

The wire in obd looked the same colour as the broken one on pin number 1.Maybe it was grey red sorry my bad.I think there must be a dodgy connection on the back if a spade in the compressor multiplug.

Wire on pin number one Grey/Red OBDII socket goes via that plug and socket to pin 3 on the delay timer relay.

Thanks Wammers.Would the broken pin just have stopped the delay timer and had no further effect. ?

Details of connections through 14 pin white plug and socket.

I failed to get a reliable connection off the air compressor...I think this joint has caused all my issues of late sp I opted to use block connectors. Not had a long drive but 4 small outings have been drama free so fingers crossed.
Out of interest are there any connectors behind the panel on drivers side that may need checking for corrosion like on passenger side ?
On another note have hit 120 000 miles today.Still loving this car.Almost had it a year now and costs so far have been zero...not bad for a p38 costing so little..I feel very lucky. This site and you helpful guys are a godsend.
