hi

noise wise, is it coming from the gearbox area

had the same problem and happended at 50 mph, and was the front propshaft bearing , where the needle bearings had failed

if u get hold of the prop at the front and get movement up and down the bearing is faulty

These vibrations/knocks etc are so difficult to identify.

We need an 'app' that can record the sounds of vibration/knocking etc and then update that recording with the fix that resolved it.

The app could then listen to cars with faults, match it to the nearest known resolved sound and point in the right direction.

I know very little abut audio recordings, but I'm sure all these different vibrations and knocks on cars will have their own unique pitch, frequencies etc.

Now that would be a good app mate, the Mrs thinks in nuts driving along.with the radio off trying to listen to engine noises lol theyall think im allways looking.to try an find problems when in my mind all i want is my baby running 100%
