VCU and prop refit

Hi all

I had the propshaft taken off my car as the vcu had seized, finally got a recon from bell engineering and now need it fitted. BUT the prop and vcu had all been dismantled with out any markings put on.

I can see the the shaft has weights on it in various places to balance it does this have to be put back together and bolted on in a very specific way ?

Or as it's all spinning can it just be bolted together and refitted to the car.

Can anyone help ?

Put it back and see how it goes. You don't need to mark but sometimes turning the shaft can eliminate high speed vibrations. Few get problems. Try this:
