I love my 90 n/a diesel but its a bit slow and oil pressure low.
needs a heart transplant...200tdi obvious choice, but big yank V8 diesel sounds intereesting.

what engine - GMC popular but ureliable and very heavy
where would I get one
whats involved - engine mountings, adaptor plate, gear ratios, exhaust, cooling etc
approx cost
insurance probs?
is it worth it - I fancy a daft project, but it must be daily useable at the end, although i dont travel great distances??
