Urgent help

Can anyone tell me what might have happened, my defender 90 TD clutch pedal has stopped working, the pedal works but will not activate the clutch, it stopped working over the last day or two and won't let me select a gear, does this sound like the cable, I have managed to get her in gear sometimes, is this costly

is there any resistance in the pedal at all?

Note to self (and to Einstein), chicken kebab with extra chilli is faster than the speed of light upon re-entering the atmosphere.

Think that the OP has gone looking for his clutch cable so he can plug it in to the mains and see if that works!!

I see one person was helpful the others just have no life! Live it?. Yes sorry figure of speech it is hydraulic and just about to check the fluid, any good tips appreciated
