The interior of my Rangie was very scratched sticky plastic. I have been upgrading with wood. Looking better I think. Before and after pics.

Certainly looks better then the scratchy sticky black crap it came with, mine has the benefit of the LR original crap finish:rolleyes: Not likely to get changed either, I have more important things to spend on.

It must be just me as i think the interior trim in mine is pretty good quality. Especially after having German cars for the last decade previous.

The black surface coating on the off white plastic is decomposing on mine, it's sticky and horrble:mad: Why they couldnt spent a few cents more on a £70K motor and colour the plastic I don't know.

I thought the DHSE would have full wood inserts / center console surround? Mine has coloured plastic, not painted?

The late ones were built with what happend to be in the parts bin. On all of them, if they don't have the faux wood trim on the centre console sides they are coated plastic.

which bits are they? Mines all black plastic with a black rubberish/rubbish coating !
The only bit on mine thats scruffy is the a/b pillers (which ive recovered) and the centre console. Ive seen a few wood ones on ebay (not the plastic wood! The real stuff) but the price always go off like a rocket in the last 30seconds

Agree totally. I had to change it all, the plastic had really gone bad. So decided to go wood.
