Evening all, just thought I'd show the results of my interior light upgrade.
I'm a field engineer and at this time of year being in a field at 3 in the morning ain't much fun as it is. With the crap original lights making finding stuff difficult I decided to upgrade. I bought this kit http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Car-LED...%3Ad6f412111590a78846933f2dffaccd99%7Ciid%3A5
Here's the results...
These were taken at night. The boot is now lit up like a Christmas tree! Fitting was easy, I cut one block of leds off and fitted inside the original front and rear light housings, other than the extra light output they look factory fitted. The boot has 5 blocks running across the rear door opening, I screwed them to the headlining and fed the wire behind the rubber seal and terminated at the original boot light. It's a neat job but you can see the blocks of leds on the roof lining although the wiring is hidden.
Must say I'm very pleased.
