Now I am worried, my intermittent hill descent warning light is now on constantly. I have never used it and can't understand why it would come on - any thoughts anyone .
Will.

Is it amber or green coz its important to know ? .... anyway, first thing to do is to check the fault codes.

Hi, it is constant amber. I have read the three amigos post but this problem only relates to the hill descent control.
I have no way of checking fault codes, do we have a register of members who own Nanocom or similar software.
Thanks,Will :).

try the lads at the discovery centre, pool in wharfedale.
big help from them with diagnostics for small amount of cash.
am currently looking into nanocam or hawkeye, but cant decide which one.

Nice one, I did not know there was anyone in Pool. It is only five minutes from me. I will give them a call.
Am I likely to be damaging anything by continuing to drive it? Wife has to go to hospital in it every day.

Did you see the Nanocom on ebay recently? I think it went for about £220.00.
If we were clever we would form a small coalition of local disco owners and buy a collective Nanocom? What do you think?

Cheers,Will :).

thought about this, have a couple o disco owners that would probly go for it, need to find out actually what it can do first. could do with an instruction manual for a browse, or better still, borrow one to play with first.
havent searched before anyone comments!

I typed Nanocom into Google and it came up with past posts from various Land Rover sites. I have to say a lot of them were rather critical of the Nanocom in that insufficient information is supplied in relation to many of the fault codes; it appears that Rovacom offers much more in this respect but at a price - £2000.00 as opposed to £200.00.
I am quite happy to stand corrected on this though :).
Will.
