I've put unleaded in a 03 TD5 Discovery 2. I had about half a tank full of diesel and topped it up with unleaded
I only worked out something was wrong when I couldn't accelerat up hills properly, then a bell rang in my head, checked the reciept and there you go. Have done about 110 miles in it before i knew, do you think i have damaged it? What should i do next?

That's one of the most common break downs we do. I've known injector seals burst but that's rare. Drain it, fill it with diesel and see how you go...you could get away without any damage...but I'm not sure anyone really knows the long term damage that could be done though

We've got these great big stainless tanks that you can hook an airline to and suck the fuel out of the tank either through the filler neck, pump recess or if your really desperate a fuel line...I'm guessing you've not got one so you could try using the missus Hoover? Might want to give it a rinse out afterwards though

Thats a good idea. Sucking petrol through a mains appliance. Bit early for November 5th isn't it?
Most of us will assume it's a joke but there is always someone who will try it.

when you have got it all out find a veg oil user near you and give it to them for thinning their veg in the winter.

You really think that someone would be dumb enough to try it? Or that there's a enough suction in a Hoover to draw petrol/diesel mix up into it? Ok.....
