Hi,

I have 3 nipples (one on the rear UJ and 2 on the drive shaft) that I cannot clear with a pin and i cannot get any grease into so I am going to swap them for new for my 2004 Defender - does anyone know what thread size they would be from the catalogue?

Thanks - Gary

OK - misread to be 6mm long - so if i am right that's an M6 screw in then?

I read it the way you did mate. If he had said M6 instead of "6mm" his sarcy comment might have been justified.

And the part number your looking for is TYL100030.

it wasnt a sarky comment **** if you knew the answer you should have put it better than i did ,i try and help more than some and i aint taking **** for it

You were being helpful in post #3 James. Then you spoiled it in #5. I read it as sarcasm. The OP was obviously confused between 6mm long and an M6 thread. Why did you not just explain that.

No point in name calling either mate. But if that's the way you are, fair do's.

im not perfect, just dont throw assumptions around ,i dont just stick to one thread but lots, theres plenty tell you to just do a search

Ok........I have seen a lot of your posts. You are helpful and LR savy. A lot more than some. But I still think it was sarcy. If I am honest, I did not really expect that sort of thing from you, as you usually try to be helpful. If I am wrong, then I apologise.

sarky , no i wasnt but i have a fair bit of criticism, spelling grammar, jealousy ,noses out of joint ,its harder trying to help than been a ****
