Hi Guys,
My rear tyre's are very close to need changing. on the front i currently have Accerea iota which are almost new and were on the car. i have marshal x3's on the back. not my idea scenario to have different tyre's front and rear. i have an almost new spare marshal in the shed after my gas conversion.
What do you guys think? Get the same tyre's for the rear or use the spare marshal and buy one to match? With this cold weather and snow coming would rather get it sorted sooner rather than later. i do next to no off-road driving but dont want to get a trye that will be totally hopeless in bad weather.
thanks
Rob

I would say as long as you have the same tyres on the same axle, and all 4 tyres are the same size, you should be fine.

The only car I've ever known to be badly affected by tyres choices were my S2000 (so much so I REJECTED a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's!!) and my current BMW 330Ci, which needs all 4 tyres to be the same. Should be fine on a Range Rover, as long as they are the same tyres on the same axle IMO.
