can anyone help me with this one,, got a 4.0 v8 es, disco s2 2000 model and ive lost all heat in the car, it has the digital climate control panel to control the heating and fan etc,, the fan operates fine and the display panel is doing all the right things but,, when pressing the temp set buttons to high it remains blowing cold air with no change,, checked the water hoses to and from the heater through the bulkhead and they are hot to touch but got no heat in the car,, is there a common problem with the climate panel ??? heater matrix ?? any help would be great,,,

Not the matrix if the hoses are hot it means the warm coolant is going through it...the heater assebly(which includes the matrix) has some blend flaps which are controlling the air through the matrix and the matrix bypass . The temperature controll is managed by a servo motor which moves the flaps....IMO that's the problem, something is blocked there and the matrix is bypassed so it can't warm up the air ... the problem is that u have to remove everything to get to this servo motor and flaps...not a joy this thing

By the way, did u run the manual diagnostic check? This one covers the temperature servo controlls for open/short circuit or motor/flap mechanism seized
