OK - Wiper jets fixed (new tee piece) and Cruise Control working (new piping throughout) So I'm thrilled :D

We noticed last week on the way to the pub meet that the climate control on the passengers side isnt working - Just blowing really hot! there is a little triangle on the HEVAC screen with an exclamation mark and a manual - Any bright ideas as to where we start with this one?!?!?!
Thank-u

Blend Motors...

These little devils open and close the flaps to direct hot or cold air to the cabin....

There are 3 of them, one for the drivers side, one for the Passanger and one that directs the air up, down, screen etc.

They fail regularly, the problem is they are a pain in the backside to change out.

They also get stuck at times, causing the system to have a hissy fit.

If you have access to a full fat diagnostic device, you could try a forced calibration to see if the motors are moving, if they are not, it is time to get physical with all the parts under the dash to get to them.

The passanger side is fairly easy to get at, but the drivers and distribution one are a pig.

Search Range Rovers and also on here there are plenty of walktrhoughs and guides for shortcuts that mean you won't have to take the whole dash out....

a screw driver bit / 1/4 drive ratchet/socket and some insulating tape the secret

Remember before you changed your o rings I suggested that you perform a full test of the Hevac system? This was the reason why. Pulling the dash out isn't difficult its just a bit time consuming but when you have blend motors and o rings to change it makes both jobs so much easier. Suggest you test all the other components of the hevac system (blowers, solar sensor and ambient temp sensor).
Rangerovers.net has some excellent step by step guides to remove the dash. As you can tell I am not a fan of the various short cuts involving the hevac.

Supposedly this info is good, I know not. Blend motor substitute:- experience has shown that the motor from the Peugeot 405 is a more direct replacement. It's Peugeot Parts description is "6447 58 Reduction Gear Mixage Valeo.
Not my info, just something I found on the web. Cheaper than the P38 version apparantly.
