Turbo cartridge??

Tried this post in the general or page and go no response so I'd thought I'd give it a shot in here...

Are the internals of the 200 and 300 tdi engine different?

I know the externals are different however im looking at replacing the cartridge in a friends 200tdi disco engine turbo and ebay only really shows 300tdi yet list as 1990-1999 which we know the 300 wasn't out in 1990...

Only other thing I can find is the 200 is a T250 2 and I think the 300 is a T250 4?

Check the body casting on your old one to pictures mine was 200tdi

Thanks, I'll give it a shot I think. It's for a friend's truck which is really sluggish, I have adjusted the pump as much as it can go if would only cause more smoke if it went anymore, the turbo is turned up so we have come to a conclusion that the turbo just isn't doing its job
