im not fussed whether is injected or carbs as long as it provides propulsion is good with me, the thing that l like with the range rover engine and box is the viscous transferbox, im keen to see how much better its going to be , its not really comparing apples with apples since my present truck is on 2wd and even that is compromised by the very very stiff suspension thats presumably like it due to the fact its a 6 tonner, i exaggerate not if i drive over a lolly pop stick it stops me since it lifts the opposing wheel and on a normal rearwheel drive diff that stops you as the wheel in the air just spins, so even in a gravel carpark its was really awkward to reverse the camper into position as i would just keep spinning wheels, having 4 wheeldrive and a viscous transfer and axle difflocks and 6 wheels should put me in a different league (hopefully), some of the air suspension on the rr might find its way over onto the iveco as well so l can level out the suspension to keep the grip/pressure on the axles more evenly matched
so the permanent 4 wd is a plus point for the P38 against the chevy V8 being part time like a series lr but its bigger capacity should produce more torque to get the whole thing rolling easier, for now i will try and get the P3 engine and box out and running in a frame standalone and see where we go
