There seems to b a little confusion over which oil does what in landys, expecially the newer ones. Im confused, judging by the posts on here so are a lot of us.
Has anyone written a definitive list of what goes where, eg diffs, each xfer box, each gearbox etc ?
Ive just put 80-90 GL4 and GL5 in the diffs of my "series", which I believe has defender diffs. All look alike to me. I used what I had.
Ive got loads of GL5 left, is it suitable for the transfer box ?
Gearbox is R380, Im told xfer box is also defender, but dont know.
GL5 can eat copper/brass/bronze bits, so is NOT suitable for everything.
Gearbox - R380. Ive got ATF already so plan to use it. Can it be mixed with MTF94 ? Just in case theres some in there
