Towbar fitting

Well i ordered my Towbar from PFjones and as they state delivery was next day if ordered before 12pm . A Removeable towbar version was ordered with 7pin electrics - Price £299.
Fitted the towbar in about 2 hours or so , electrics in about an hour , just need the electrics coding . This was all performed on our drive with no special tools required apart from a good socket set . It also fits perfectly , electircs just plug into a plug inside the rear nearside boot areA .

So if you think you need to pay someone to do it , think again , if i can do it its easy - Saved me about £200

Quite willing to help further if you are unsure about anything , PFJones are also very good at helping overcome problems

Garrad, just what I needed to hear. Picking up our freelander on Sunday and wondered if it was easy to fit a towbar myself. We're the electrics the LR ones? Could you explain how these are fitted?

Hi, what do you gain from having the electrics coded, please?
I.e does it mean that the fitted towbar waring light works?
OR, would it be better/ easier to buy a non standard wiring loom that doesn't require coding?

How much did you have topay to have it coded?
