Nice one, want to do that to my 90 when i get round to buying one. Out of interest, what you do about wearing a seat belt, do you just not wear one? Just because I cant think what you would fit it to, unless odviously fitted a roll hoop.

seatbelt is bolted to the top of the centre bulkhead, behind the seat.
belt comes over the shoulder in the same way as many convertibles.
the belt doesn't retract very well, but locks up OK under braking.

I am thinking some kit like this may help the breathing and fly problem when goin faster.
though you will need to pull over to chomp ya pasties!!

a couple of small bits of pipe insulation should do it

would you need ya pipe insulating aswell?

I want to do this mod for my ex-MOD 110 soft top

No windscreen is a clear winner when out on the farm.
On road it feels like a speed boat for a while and then sucks when you have to go fast. At that point windscreen+ipod are game changers.

What is needed to do this?

From what I have read on this forum its:

- Craddox hinge kits for lower windscreen bolts
MXC7847 WINDSCREEN HINGE 90/110 LH. £14.75
MXC7846 WINDSCREEN HINGE 90/110 RH. £ 12.75

- cut rubber seal to allow for pivot

- wiper blades just pull out?

- I will rest windscreen frame onto bonnet wheel, so no scuffing issues there


is it that easy?

Your mod 110 should already have a hinged screen. That's how the mod ordered them.

yes my windscreen is hinged and there is a threaded bolt that holds it in

i thought the kit was a hinge kit that allowed for quick flip
