Hi all,

I was out in the landy today and thought that the rear window needs a quick clean, so pressed the button on the dash for the washers and the wiper and got nothing. Ok a fuse I thought. Got home and checked the fuses under the dash, along with swoping some relays to see if it was one of them. But everthing was ok. I then tryed to open the back door, it opened, but the glass would not go down ( what a pain trying to get the door closed with the glass up), Took the rear r/h side panel off and swoped and checked the 2 relays, still nothing. :(

1) What would cause the rear wash/wipe and the rear glass to fail at the same time ?
2) Is there an other fuse that I dont know about that could have gone?

thanks

Or its the silly drop down glitch fing in the tail gate motor or the door pull handle is fooked . . . . . .try the window re calibrate first as this might help eliminate a few things :) :) :)

the heated rear window also does not work . I checked the wiring best I can by moving them, and opening and closing the conectors. one thing i did notice is that when you press the button for the window to go down a buzzer goes off ?

Re-calibrate!!! or have you done it?

If the window doesn't go all the way up the heated window won't operate.
The buzzer is a warning from your your ECU that something's not right.

i have tried the recalibration several times, but when i reconect the battery the window stays up ?

it there an other way to do it ?

The window should wind down upon re-connection of the battery.

Wiring then could be the problem, sorry i can't be more vague.

If I remember correctly, the 3 door has a switch under the removable top, this stops the window from working when you go topless, it would also affect the washers and wipers and heated rear window. after all you don't need ant of those when the top is off.
