A month or two back, I was the winning bidder on an ebay tirfor
(griphoist).
It works fine, but it's missing a few bits. I contacted Tractel about
parts, and they told me that they stopped making this model 25 years
ago! (Seems perfect for my 7/69 FJ40
Anyway, it's a brute of a thing, model T.35. The only missing bit
that they can't supply is a small threaded tube/handle that fits
inside the operating lever, to draw up a pin that allows you to
adjust the stroke length. (If you don't know what I'm talking
about, it's probably too hard to try to explain ...)
I don't know exactly what this thing looks like, but I can guess.
If *you* have such a thing, I'd love to get some dimensions on this
part...
