Throttle cable freeplay ??

Hi All,

I am new to the land rover scene and have an issue with the HDL warning light being on all the time.

I have found this while googling it

Does anyone know what the adjustment prosedure is for this also could someone put the 12 ± 1mm into english for me probably just being thick just wanted to rule this out before taking the gaiter off to check the switch connection.

Also would i need to get the light reset by a dealer with diagnostics ?

The pedal needs between 11 and 13 mm of free play before is pulls the cable. If not you can get 1 amigo coming on even if the switch is working.

ok will check it tonight then and see the the light goes out
