that i can get some spot and fog lights on my 05 ,on the front grill .Been looking for a A frame nudge bar and cannot find one for 05 ,is there any difference between 04 an 05 for fitting nudge bars .Have found the big black nudge bars but not s/s ones any help or advice much appreciated .

May have found some done by northwest autostyling made to eu standard have asked seller if they are legal for uk roads .Anyone know the rules ?

Spot on many thanks seen these on a Freelander and are to in your face for me ,however thanks for the link :D

Too in ya face?? Man I want a set like that, but they're 1/2 way round the world!

Getting parts like that are scarce as hen's teeth in Oz. I've even been reduced to looking at modifying some Japper OE nudge bars to get them to fit!!

Hi Tramper, I don't know how the law in the U.K. is thinking about this one. I think in The Netherlands, were I come from it is not allowed to put on a 2005 anymore. But I found this picture an I like the looks of it.

On an Belgium Freelander Forum where i/m a member there was a guy who put this on. I like the previous one better.

You are so right the top one is awesome and just what i want but i think your right about the rules ,the bottom one is what streetlander is after .The last thing i want to do is put one on and have some copper come along and say take it off more thought is needed ,great photos by my way.

Isn't the cut off point for one of these style bars 2004. So yours is 2005 its a no no.

havent looked at Oz laws but dont reckon they would write me up for it.

Most new japper 4x4's have bull/nudge bars on them so i dont think it will be a prob for me at least.

Mind you we got more to hit over here, Kangaroo's, Wombats, Emu's, wayward pedestrians, ****ed Abbo's, and old Holdens! lmao

After seeing those pics I must say I do like the bottom one better.

Still 1/2 way round the world *sighs*

Go for it man so what if you have to wait a while it will get there in the end ,if you don't then it will never arrive .

come to realise that ,
a, no bullbar,
b,no spotlights only the factory ones which is cool ,
also found out it is illegal to wire them into your main beam ciruit as well as you cannot have them on the same time as your main beam .have found bonnet and roof pods but i do not like to think what the wife would do to me if they turned up .

Some nice one's on Ebay from Turkey and the likes, they are A frame style but have about 4 vertical short bars at the very bottom.... that's the style I'd go for!!

I'd attach a picture but work PC wont allow it.

Wrong

Use main beam for relay switching
Use separate live/fused/switched power. ;)

I wanted some spotlights and fog lights fitting to mine. I, like you, spent ages looking for a decent looking front mount (bull/A bar). I couldn't find one I liked so spent the next few days searching for home made mounts. Came across a ozzy site that a guy made his own roof mount. So that's what I did, stuck 4 work lights on the roof and 2 fog lights on the lower grill. All wired up to a switch on the dash. They can only be used if the sidelights are on and the switch is pressed, so legal for use in the uk, albeit off road only. But that what I got them for.
