The right wheels....

Hello, I have a 2003 FL1 Sport and I need some winter wheels to go to Germany. I would very much appreciate it if anyone can confirm if the wheels pictured will fit. The chap selling does not know what year vehicle they came off.

No ones going to be able to tell just by looking at a phot.... To paraphrase father ted ' these tires are very and these tires are far away'.
If you were to look at the tires themselves, on the side wall (of all tires) you should see something that's reads similar to 225/65R16. (Which is tire width in mm/% of width as height/rims width in inches). This is for the tires alone.

But if you are buying the whole thing, you need to concentrate on the 5 holes in the centre and find out their spacing. Post that in mm and someone should be able to OK it for you.

Idle drunk.....the tyres are good 215 65 16, but I am concerned about the difference between the pre 01 wheels that do not fit over the larger vented discs on the post 01. Is it possible to tell from these photos if these wheels are post 01? I have read elsewhere about 'dimples' between the stud bolts, but will confess I don't know what I'm lookin for.

Ps I should have added that they're definitely FL1 pcd.

It would be difficult from the photo. My plan A would be to ask the guy selling to measure for me with a ruler in mm. My plan B would be to just buy them for micro cheapo and when they don't fit, get them straight back online and sell the, for the same price.
But winter driving in Germany. Sounds really fun. I hope you get it all sorted like you want and have a good time.

Post facelift wheels and near as new winter tyres. If you buy them it will stop me looking at them and thinking I should have them.

Get the seller to get the part numbers off the rear of the wheel

But I would say those are 2001MY on rims so all good for your 2003 car

Right, I have the part no. And cross referencing it with a previous thread on here, it would suggest they will not fit. Bugger.

Seriously, if it's winter wheels and tyres you want, give Epicuser a shout. Please. Before I buy them instead of the monstrous intercooler I REALLY want to buy.

In all seriousness, they are the right wheels AND nearly new Vredestein WinTrac winter tyres. I don't know the bloke, but I suspect you'll pay a darn sight less than you would for some shonky eBay rims and KwikFit's best offer.

RRC114780 from vin1A000001, so they fit with vented discs.
