Hi,

taking a journey here this week, but I'm not 100% sure of the location.

Has anyone been there and is this the correct spot? thanks!

This is Location here circled in red. Google maps is pointing at Nationwide Crash repairs. Hope this helps.

Google tends just to point at the postcode centroid so the actual thing you're looking for can be some distance away. Especially where the addresses are spread out!

Mickey could you let me know how you get on at Gemm4x4 I've only recently bought a Defender and would be good to know how good the local specialist is in case I need to use him.

I got it back today, and must say was very pleased with the service they gave.

They charged me £40 per hour labour, which is LESS than my local garage.

Ended up changing all the injector seals/washers plus a new harness as oil had started to make its way down towards the ecu.

Even allowing for the fact I had to use LANDY-BIKE-TRAIN-BIKE-BIKE-TRAIN-LANDY to get there and back, I'd use them again, no problems.

If you are as close to them as it looks, you should use them, for sure.

Yeah I think might have a pop up to see them going be due an MOT in December might be worth getting them to give it pre check.

as per the advice I got on here, you're looking at 10-14 days sometimes to book in. I was lucky and they had a spot 8 days after I called them. The owner, George, and the rest of the guys were very decent chaps.

Hello everyone, only 2nd post, but love the forum, does anyone have an email contact for Gemm 4x4, sent an email and it's come back unsent at [email protected] , sure they must be still trading... Thanks in advance Jason

Have you tried the phone number on their website or the web form you can fill in with a message? I find some people aren't that keen on email these days!

Oh, and they show up on Google Maps, complete with lots of positive reviews which are fairly recent so it looks like they're still in business.
